Epic Super User   Are you an Epic Super User? Do you work in a clinical or registration position using Epic? Do you have the availability to take vacation and work a project for either one or two weeks? Did you just graduate and waiting to take your boards? Are you a PRN/Support Employee that has flexibility to work a project for a couple weeks? Are you looking for an opportunity that you can work projects throughout the year? Nuance Communications is looking for individuals like you. Whether you can commit one week or several months throughout the year we have multiple project opportunities. We are hiring for multiple Epic Go-Live projects.
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Point of Care Clinical Analyst for a 6-months assignment for our Point of Care (POC) and other Laboratory systems.  Individuals must have a strong background analyzing requirements gathered from clinical end users and other clinical stakeholders, creating BRDs, paper mock ups, flowcharts, project schedules and other tasks such as leading validation sessions and build. The right candidate will need the personality to assume ownership over a project, create guidance where there isn’t any and influence the direction if it is not correct. Strong written and spoken language skills are a must and a strong background in clinical healthcare technologies and processes is strongly preferred.  The Point of Care Clinical Analyst works with assigned facility Lab Subject Matter Experts to implement TELCOR POCT software with assigned Telcor vendor analyst. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating and conducting interface connectivity and testing from a variety of testing devices deployed outside the clinical laboratory to the facilities’ designated information systems. This includes working with a team of individuals at an H & H facility that may include point of care coordinators, laboratory management, IT, network specialists, etc. Project Analysts may also be required to work on the support line to service  Client facilities calling in with production issues and questions. Other responsibilities include active participation in POCT meetings and training sessions, documentation, and participation sometimes during outside traditional office hours.

The Epic Principal Trainer, under the direction of the Epic Training Manager, works with the application build teams to develop and maintain the training program for their application. The Epic Principal Trainer utilizes knowledge of the organization’s clinical or business requirements, Epic application capabilities, and his or her technical skills to design and support training for the Epic application as well as build and test the training environment. All members of the training team should have experience with adult education.

This position is part of a dynamic group of individuals who travel to client sites to assist clinicians in Epic and Dragon Medical support. Support will include training and assisting clinicians in at-the elbow, in small group sessions, one-on-one, or in ad hoc sessions to increase efficiency and promote accurate charting in both Epic and Dragon. You will be providing assistance to clinical end-users for all areas of Epic and Dragon on an as-needed timeframe. You may be rounding to see areas where assistance is needed or may be scheduled to assist. The position includes more responsibilities than traditional go-live at-the-elbow support, as you will also hold small group sessions or 1:1 meetings to assist clinicians with documentation. Information you are expected to provide to clinicians can range from writing notes, managing the In Basket, running reports, general navigation, or tips and tricks to gain efficiency while charting.

The  training  Lead  Coach  is  responsible  for  the  overall  implementation  of  the  Epic  end-user  training  program   as   well  as  ongoing  education  and  maintenance  of  the  training  program  after go‑live.  He/she  is  responsible  for   determining  required  training  resources,  directing  and  managing  training  team  staffing,  and  securing  facilities   and  equipment  for  classroom  training.  In addition,  the  training  manager  decides  curriculum  delivery  methods,   oversees  the  creation  and  maintenance  of  a  realistic  training  environment,  creates  a  course  catalog  and  training   schedule,  and  ensures  all  users  are  trained  before  they  access  the  production  environment.  Prefer local candidates.
